solar systems
Are there solar systems that have a clockwise orbit?

I have a hypothesis regarding the effects of gravity. The answer to this questions would be the 1st step of proving it.

Well it’s kind of a funny way to ask the question. Since a solar system (including this one) is part of 3 dimensions, not two, clockwise really has no meaning. It’s all relative…

Let me give you an example:

If an observer looks at our solar system from a point oriented near the stars that we see in the northern skies from the earht, then an observer would see our solar system’s planets revolve in a counterclockwise direction.

If however, an observer were to view the solar system from a point in space near the stars in our southern skies as seen from earht, then the solar system planets revolve in a clockwise direction…

The bottom line is this. Because everything in space is free to rotate through all 3 spatial axes, there is no answer to your question unless you position the observer in some position relative to the solar system in question…

I hope that was somewhat clear.
